Why Stretching Doesn’t Work

What you don't know is that these minor aches, pains and tightness have

created imbalances and bad movement patterns that will eventually lead to injury.

Stretching can actually aggravate the muscles that are already inflamed due to injury.

The last thing you want to do is overstretch an already overstretched muscle.

These tight muscles can't simply be stretched.

It's like a knot in your shoelace. If you simply stretch it, the knot doesn't go away and the shoelace doesn't return to normal.
